Plant Making Materials: (We work almost entirely in paper as plant details are more easily controlled, but sometimes we add in techniques from other mediums) Angie Scarr has the best information on techniques using polymer clay as well as some interesting online lessons. Diane Harfield supplies completed plants in cold porcelain as well as materials and instructions for working in this medium. Hanky Panky Crafts supply punches, books, punched petals, wire, stamens etc. as well as basic kits in 1/2 inch and 1 inch scale. The Miniature Garden Centre supply the best range of plant kits and materials (laser leaves, punched petals, wire) in 1/12 & 1/24th scale (from beginner to advanced) available via mail order and at UK fairs. Georgina is very helpful and the her kits, made from a consistent paper range, blend together beautifully even if you only make one a year. Her instructions are particularly clear.

His pots are available online from several U.S. suppliers, (search for Mossy pots) via mail order or online via Barb Plevan. (Barb also produces a line of garden accessories and tables, as well as plants) Sue Cook Miniatures produce plaster pots, fountains, lamps and balusters as part of her highly detailed range. The Daisy House produce great wooden furniture kits in 1/12 & 1/24th scale with clear instruction Heidi Ott Dolls and Miniatures Quality Dolls house dolls, working miniature Grandfather clocks, high quality dolls house furniture, dolls house miniatures and dolls house dolls clothes, all designed by Heidi Ott in Switzerland.
